WHY CASHMERE IS ESSENTIAL
April is beautiful in Sydney, but the weather can be just as temperamental. Hence the NEED for a cashmere jumper. THE BEST WARDROBE SCENT TO ELEVATE YOUR CLOTHES
Guilty for wanting your wardrobe to smell decadent? That’s the energy we’re channeling. We’ve been obsessing over the Rose Gardenia wax tablets from Santa Maria Novella. Place one in your wardrobe or within your drawers and your clothes are subtly scented with the most gorgeous blend of gardenia and almond blossom. It’s such a small gesture but it genuinely makes getting dressed feel so much more luxurious. Wardrobe goals, honestly.
THE BEST EVERYDAY LOAFERS – VERSATILE & CHIC
A little secret about us, at one point, we despised a loafer. We would wear heels for as long as possible in the colder months despite our bare ankles freezing. We’ve come around to it though. Admittedly its incredibly versatile and a staple that earns a respected place in everyones wardrobe. OUR FAVOURITE NEW FRAGRANCE FIND
We didn’t go looking for a new fragrance this month. And yet we have to include it. Amouage Guidance; Rose, woody, warm and quietly commanding without being loud. There’s a depth to it that reveals itself slowly throughout the day, which is exactly what we want from a scent. If you’ve been searching for something that feels genuinely elevated, luxurious, warm and a little unexpected, this is it. Consider this one a must on your wishlist.
THE LUXURY CANDLE WORTH BUYING RIGHT NOW
Candles are our kryptonite. There’s nothing like a scent that pulls you straight into a fond memory or a place you’d rather be. This month we sought sophistication and depth, reaching for Saint Laurent’s 6 Place Saint-Sulpice. Notes of leather accord, amber and balsam instantly transported us somewhere between a Parisian side street and a dimly lit wine bar in Saint-Germain. The design itself is minimal and luxe, an object you leave out because it deserves to be seen. It’s precise with depth and intensity, almost too perfect for a moody April afternoon, pinot noir in hand.
April reminded us that getting dressed, lighting a candle, or simply reaching for something you love is never really about the thing itself, it’s about how it makes you feel. That’s the edit we always come back to. Not the most, but items that genuinely deserve a place, chosen carefully.
