Long drapes, effortless silhouettes and considered pallets; FW25 was a Parisian cocktail of delicious fine tuned lace and frills reminiscent of the early 2000’s where Boho Fashion swept our screens from The OC to Gossip Girl (who could forget Serena’s iconic take on Boho luxe).
For most, this was an interesting time, perhaps when wearing ‘too much lace’ and mixed prints was championed. Or when feathered headbands and loud jewellery was ‘the’ accessory… respectfully. But taking into consideration PFW’s recent take, it’s clear that Boho chic is back in an ultra modernistic way.

Zimmerman, Chloe, Chanel, Celine, Isabel Marant… a few of Fashion’s leaders in ruffles, lace and sheer romance. Leading the way, said Maisons used plush tones with a mix of textures to allude an innocent feel with a true French twist. Swede jackets, denim and fur filtered the enhanced vision of practicality throughout the cooler months. Whilst the presence of ‘layers’ allows for personalism.

Is it a fashion choice we’re considering this winter? Absolutely! If anything, Boho Chic is redefined with soft feminine hues and sharp contrasts; a combination that without context, looks undeniably ‘French’ and so cool girl coded.
